Omnicom Group Services Netherlands (OGS) is a leading Shared Service Center providing support in the areas of Finance, IT, and HR to various advertising, media, and PR companies in the Netherlands.

To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist.

Job Overview

As a HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks and projects. You will support the organization in personnel management, labor relations, training and development, and compliance with HR policies.
You will act as the first point of contact for employees and management for HR-related questions and issues.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Personnel Management: Manage personnel files, maintain leave/absenteeism records, and support performance management and appraisal processes.

  • Labor Relations: Assist in resolving labor disputes, mediate between employees and management, and advise on HR policies and labor laws.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training/development programs, and support talent management and succession planning.

  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies, keep HR handbooks up to date, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • HR Projects: Collaborate on various HR projects, such as wellness programs and diversity initiatives.

  • HR Administration: Support payroll processing, manage HR systems, and generate HR reports and analyses.

Requirements

  • Education: A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a dynamic and international organization.

  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.

  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (in English). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attributes: Proactive, empathetic, discreet, and reliable. Able to work independently while also being a team player.
