Production Intern

Full-time  \  Amsterdam

Wanted: Production Interns!
TBWA\ is also known as the Disruption® company and that’s not for nothing. We develop creative business-changing and culture-defining ideas for brands by breaking conventions. We're currently looking for Dutch-speaking interns to join our production department.

About the internship
During this internship you will work at \MAKE, the in-house production company of TBWA\NEBOKO, responsible for content production. You will become part of the team and help them to produce very cool TVCs, OLVs and formats for strong brands such as McDonald's, Albert Heijn, Adidas, Staatsloterij, NS, T-Mobile and adidas. We can already tell you that no day will be the same!

About you
Whatever the goal, you go for it. Rough sea? No problem! You don’t shy away from a challenge and you are ambitious and enterprising. You know how to exceed expectations time after time. You are stress resistant, flexible, accurate and a real team player.

Requirements
  • You are enrolled in a school of which an internship is part of the curriculum (this is a must).
  • You have a hands-on mentality and get shit done.

  • You’re stress resistant and don’t have a 9-5 mentality.

  • You are available for the minimum of four month and ideally five months.
  • Fluent in Dutch (both speaking and writing)

What’s in it for you?
  • Work for global brands while being surrounded by creative minds that inspire and show you all ins and outs of advertising.
  • An internship allowance.
  • Be part of a close group of interns from all kinds of departments.
  • Great learning experiences.
  • Various events and drinks every week in our own bar or on our sunny terrace by the water.
  • And if your internship months weren't enough… Quite a lot of interns stick around for their first (and sometimes even second or third) job. So who knows…

Wanna sail along?
Does this sound like you? Great! Please apply below!

Our Departments

Account
Here you will be the point of contact for our clients. It’s a fast track to understand the different departments and our processes. You’re good at getting things done, and great at working with people. You’re organized, love an overview and are keen to handle a project (or a few) by yourself.

Strategy
If your mind is constantly curious, and you find yourself asking “why?” a lot, then perhaps strategy is for you. Here you dig deep into brand and consumer insights, trends and shifts in culture. You make sure that this informs the best strategy, for both the client and our creatives.

Creative
In the creative department… well, we get creative. It’s where we take our strategic thinking and the needs of the client to work out the story we need to tell our audience. These are writers, art directors, creative directors and many other disciplines that love to find weird and wonderful ways to make our clients and campaigns sing, and make their audience think and feel. *Applicants for creative internships are required to submit a portfolio.

Production
Once we’re ready to start making, production comes in. This is where we actually make our image, video, sound and everything in between. It’s high energy, and it’s here that our concepts and ideas come to life.

TBWA\X
This is our digital arm. It focuses on building and developing all kinds of apps and websites for our brands to create a digital consumer journey for their products.

Design
Working closely with creative, the design department brings our visual ideas to life and make sure they function well on their intended platform or medium. Design requires a keen eye for detail, and a good understanding of grid systems, colour theory, typography and how each of these elements come together.  *Applicants for design internships are required to submit a portfolio.

Social
When campaigns are ready to live out and grow in the world of social, we bring in our social squad. If you know social, and think you have an idea on what brands can do on these platforms (or you’re keen to learn), then this might well be for you. An internship in this department means that you support the social creatives with your brilliant ideas and design or edit skills.

PR
PR looks after how we are seen as an agency. It makes sure we’re known and look our best in front of (future) clients, press, (future) colleagues, and our industry. This includes maintaining our website and social media, organizing events and handling (inter)national  press. Strong writing skills, flexibility and creative thinking are very welcome here.
